I live in Renton with two kids, two dogs, two cats, and one husband. I do freelance writing for several sites, and manage my husband’s small business. I spent more than a decade with the same company in the IT industry, which must be some kind of record. I went through the help desk, email administrator, network administrator, and operations analyst positions before deciding I just needed to stay home for a while.

I am involved with a local church and local public school, and am always on the look-out for free or cheap things to do with my family. This blog is a natural outlet for writing down the things I am monitoring anyway. I would love to hear from you, if you have any tips or suggestions for me.

I have two young children, and will focus on free or inexpensive family activities, or sometimes just the random things I find interesting.
